I bought these pants for a very picky 7-year-old. He likes pants that are not too dressy, light colored, comfortable, no pockets all over, etc. and these fit the bill perfectly. I like the fact that you can dress these up or down, and the Khaki color is not so light that it shows every little spill. The fabric is on the heavy/warm side but soft to the touch. The sizing choices are excellent as well. It was worth the money! -- great
