I bought these at a store and for me, they fit perfectly. They are close-fitting, but that is why they are called "perfectly shaping". Loose jeans wouldn't be called that, in my opinion. I like the lower waist and the way they look on me. I bought the size I normally wear in Levi's. In my experience, all brands fit differently, so one might have a different size in one maker's jeans than another's. -- These are my favorite jeans
